Life with your best friend isn’t turning out how you thought it would.

Maybe they’re too afraid to step outside. Maybe when they do, they bark at everything and everyone. Maybe guests aren’t comfortable in your home, maybe your dog has even bitten someone. Whatever it is, this isn’t the life you dreamed of.

But you’re here. You know a better life is out there and you’re committed to making that happen.

Here’s how we can do that together:

Step 1: Consultation

90 minutes $225 In Person or Virtual

All training starts with a consultation. The first step in creating a specialized training plan is figuring out what motivates your dog’s undesirable behavior and how to motivate them to make better choices. While by psychological  definition punishment works (Insert definition link/hover?), it does not typically address the reason for your dog acting out in the first place. Like many of us our dogs live in a stressful and confusing world that is sometimes just too damn much to handle.

During the consultation I observe your dog and learn from you. We discuss a wide range of topics such as your lifestyle, goals, daily struggles, or your dog’s favorite napping spot. With this holistic picture of your lives I can put together the right plan and skill set to help you and your dog. As we wrap up the consultation you will receive  guidance on reducing immediate stress in your life and a general training plan. Afterwards you will receive a behavior summary and comprehensive training plan.

Step 2: Training

Private lessons

In Person or Virtual

$150 for one hour lesson

$425 for 3 one hour lessons, paid up front.*

$810 for 6 one hour lessons, paid up front.*

Private lessons are ideal for pet parents who want to understand their dog better and become their pooches ultimate advocate and behavior coach.

The first private lesson typically centers on developing the necessary skills to  build a strong partnership between you and your dog. From an understanding of how canine behavior differs from humans, translation of your dog’s personal vocabulary, to training foundations like using a marker word or what reinforcement actually does.

Once you and your dog have the foundation skills to train and collaborate we work on skills like Sit, Place, Stay, Heel, etc. However, these skills alone won’t resolve behavior problems like fear, biting, or barking. Your dog still has to make better decisions when faced with their triggers.

As training progresses I guide you and your dog through using these skills in increasingly challenging and realistic situations. As these new behaviors are rehearsed new habits are forming that will soon become your dog’s new normal.

Canine Tutoring & Private lesson Package

In Person only

10-12 weeks

$1,575 - $2,430*

I personally work with your dog 2-3 days per week to build their proficiency in the skills needed to contend to change their behavior. At the end of the tutoring phase we begin 1 on 1 lessons to catch you up with everything your dog has learned and build your proficiency in using those skills to navigate your challenges.

Step 3: Graduation

Priceless

I joke that I never want to see any of my clients again - because that means I did my job well! You don’t need me anymore, you have the  confidence, knowledge, skill, and practice to go through life with joy.

Whether that means relaxing walks, weekly game nights, or a much needed vacation, this new life with your dog feels good.
